About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a detail-savvy, guest-focused Group Reservations Consultant to join our team. You’ll be the go-to for coordinating group bookings across our hostels – from school trips and tour groups to special events and everything in between. If you love logistics, live for great service, and get a buzz from helping people plan amazing stays, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing group booking inquiries from start to finish
• Coordinating availability across multiple properties
• Communicating with group leaders to tailor their stay
• Preparing quotes, confirmations, and invoices
• Working closely with hostel teams to ensure smooth arrivals and happy guests
• Keeping systems up to date and processes running smoothly
• Representing the Haka House brand with warmth, professionalism, and manaakitanga

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in reservations, travel, or hospitality (bonus if it’s group-focused!)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A customer-first mindset and friendly, approachable vibe
• Confidence using booking systems and managing admin
• A love for travel, people, and creating seamless experiences
• A genuine appreciation for Māori culture and values
