Are you passionate about creating unforgettable guest experiences? Do you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working in a vibrant, people-focused environment? Haka House Hostels is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Night Host / Housekeeper to join our awesome team!

This unique role combines guest hosting and housekeeping responsibilities, helping ensure our guests have an exceptional experience while maintaining the high standards our properties are known for. Whether welcoming late arrivals, assisting guests throughout the evening, or preparing the property for the day ahead, you'll play an important role in keeping things running smoothly.

This position operates on a rotating roster and includes Late Shifts, and Night Shifts.

What We're Looking For

We're after someone who:

• Brings positive energy and a can-do attitude (experience in hostels or hotels is a bonus, but not essential!)
• Has excellent time management and communication skills
• Is passionate about travel and Aotearoa
• Has a sharp eye for detail and takes pride in their work
• Is comfortable working independently and confidently handling guest enquiries during evening and overnight hours
• Can work evenings, nights, and weekends on a rotating roster
• Holds a valid New Zealand Passport, Resident Visa, or current New Zealand Work Visa
